how to give me money every month!
patreon
odds are you already know what patreon is, but the quick & dirty: it's a site that allows you to give me (and other artists) money on a subscription basis and support my work directly! you get all sorts of neat bonuses, even for just giving me $1.00 per month!
subscriptions are broken up into tiers—different tiers get different benefits, but there are some basic things all tiers get!
basic benefits
here's the cool stuff all patrons get as ongoing benefits for subscribing!
priority and enhanced access
i try to carefully plan when i post my art online to maximize engagement, becasue that's just what you have to do to make money as an artist online. but on patreon, i post things as soon as they're done! in addition, patrons get access to the full-size images, rather than the smaller versions i upload elsewhere. to top it all off, patrons get to see all sorts of behind-the-scenes stuff—works in progress, sketches, discarded alternate versions, and fun stuff like that! finished work will never be fully exclusive to patreon, but patrons will always see things first!
vote in monthly polls
each month, the higher tier subscribers get to submit an idea for a poll—all patrons get to vote!
audience participation
from time to time, i may need volunteers for one thing or another—i will always ask my patrons first! it's not a guarantee by any means, but just by subscribing, you have a chance of getting drawn by me! wow!!
10% discount
all patrons get a 10% discount on commissions as long as they're actively subscribed—this does not include auctions, as that would be unfair toward non-patrons!

your patreon contributions are converted into GoatyBucks, which i'll explain further below!

i had this idea—what if you could count your patreon contributions toward commissions? i've decided to call this system "GoatyBucks," though i may change that name—still working the specifics out, haha! it's pretty straightforward—GoatyBucks have a 1:1 ratio with USD, though they are not legal tender and are non-transferrable. each dollar you contribute via patreon is added to your total GoatyBucks, which can be put toward a commission (except for auctions) at any time!

my patreon has 6 tiers, 3 of which are genuinely thought out, and 3 of which are basically just jokes, but hey, we'll see!

person who is really cool!
at this tier, you get the basic benefits!
as a one-time reward, you also get a rough, shaded-color bust illustration of your character or fursona, perfect to use as an icon! this would normally cost $10, but you get it for just $1 as a way of thanking you for your (hopefully ongoing) support!
$4.20
"ideas person"
at this tier, you get the basic benefits, as well as some ongoing and one-time rewards!
you get to submit an idea each month for the poll! this can be anything from a really specific scene involving my characters to anything as vague as a particular kink or theme! this idea can only involve my characters, though—not your own, not your friends', not characters from video games or cartoons or whatever, etc.
like all other tiers, you get a rough, shaded-color bust illustration of your character or fursona as a one-time reward, perfect to use as an icon! this would normally cost $10, but you get it for just $1 as a way of thanking you for your (hopefully ongoing) support!
you also get a one-time bonus of 20 GoatyBucks! combined with your initial pledge of $4.20 (which can be higher, if you desire), that gives you $24.20 to put toward a commission from me—just under enough for a flat-color single-character illustration!
